The last weeks YCN has built up a complete new web environment. And if you feel that ycn.net look same as before, we are very pleased, since one of the goals was to preserve the old design as much as possible.

YCN.net does now run on Wordpress web/blog engine, believed to be the most commonly used in the world. The engine comes with a easy accessible “front end” editing tool, making it easy to update and maintain the pages by the spiders.

Further we have loaded it with our own SQL database making it possible to implement interactive tools. One such tool is already installed and that is the possibility for the visitors comment the posts.

To sum it it up, ycn.net has now a modern web environment which should make the pages more interesting to visit for our members and more easy to update/maintain for the crew.

Making the recent changes of ycn.net, we have only been using open source software. Now we recommend this software to you as well. Not only is the software professional, stable and and in many cases market leading, but also 100% free to download and use.
